After a two week hiatus, the weekly studio digest is back! And what a two weeks it has been. I spent the first part in Nashville at the Harding Art Show in which I packed up over 50 pieces of art and only brought back home 15-ish pieces! So yes, it was a great show. My art neighbors Kelly Sullivan and Addison Duke (who both also happened to be from Alabama) made the weekend easy to love too.
The days before a show are always bonkers. So when the show is over and I get back to my studio, it’s regrouping time. I put the studio back together, clean up and refocus. It feels good. A closing of a stress loop. I’m finally reaching the point where things are falling back into their normal rhythms and I can remember to do things like write this weekly email! Just in time for summer break, lol.
As I was cleaning, I came across a pile of old work which means studio sale time! It’s been a minute since I’ve done a studio sale like this but basically, I offer old work and slightly imperfect art at a steep discount as a way to say thank you for loving my work. The sale will be first dibs here, next Friday, in this update.
